2. Note any planets inside. They are the active players. Venus in the 10th? Career tied to beauty, relationships, or the arts.
3. Follow the ruler. Find where the sign’s ruling planet lives, and you’ll see what this life area connects to.

The four angular houses (the power corners)

The 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th are the angular houses — the strongest, most action-oriented points of the chart. Planets here express loudly and shape the life visibly. When you’re short on time, read the angles first: identity (1st), roots (4th), partnership (7th), and public role (10th) give you the spine of the whole story.

Worked example: finding the loaded houses
